Geneva hosts over 30 intergovernmental organisations and some of the most important non-governmental organisations in the world. It is the perfect place to study diplomacy and politics.

With privileged relationships with IOs and NGOs our institute delivers high-level knowledge, offers internships at the UN and other bodies, brings experts to share first hand experiences, and generally elevates the art of teaching to a new level.

Vision Statement

The GNI, a novice academic institution, it seeks to produce a special kind of society with every perfect blend of knowledge, critical competencies, skills and values ​​essential to the future of the democratic imagination, nationally and internationally. In doing so, the institute hopes to imbue in its students the ethical practices that are essential to any challenge of social change and economic growth. Reflecting its diversity, GNI hopes to become an important conveyance for social and historical justice in higher education.

Mission Statement

To attain the goals set by the GNI, this academia pledges:

  • to ignite in students an entrepreneurial vigour and leadership skills, capable of preparing them for a life of professions
  • to foster a robust system of administration, marked with professionalism
  • to generate enthusiasm and enhance the ability of students to get actively involved in research work in emerging areas
  • to engage in student-centered teaching methods and to encourage students to participate themselves in the pursuit of truth.
  • to develop the criticality of outlook and insight, in order to push at the boundaries of knowledge and expand one’s understanding of the world
  • to impart training in all forms of cognitive competence and equip students with skills of global standards
  • to build capacity and confidence of students, with a view to enabling them to compete at the national and international levels
  • to encourage students to become empathetic to others, sensitive to the current social-cultural-political issues and to render them capable of meaningfully addressing the same through rational dialogue and constructive discussion
  • to strive towards realising the constitutional ideal of equality, irrespective of differences and structural asymmetries on the basis of caste, class, gender, religion and community
