Social Responsibility and Ethics


Objective:
This workshop aims to explain and assist in understanding the importance of social responsibility and ethics to integrate the necessary steps politicians and stakeholders need to take using the common good and duty-based approaches. Participants will be exposed to a solid grounding the practice of socially responsible practices and recognize the long-term benefits on reputational of CSR the organization. Able to articulate and justify the rational behind CSR decisions.

Content:
Social responsibility and ethics are vital characteristics that are required in the decision making process as they assist in shaping and conducting day to day operations while ensuring morality is present and in the forefront. By incorporating these elements into a work culture, politicians are able to develop, maintain, evaluate and improve upon a framework that mirrors the principles that reflect effective governance.

Method of training:
It is interactive, building on participants’ knowledge and experience. Individual and work group discussions include conceptual input and are also based on hands-on learning methods. Tools and concepts are introduced and case studies are examined.
